August operating result. Revenue 11,204 thousand against a plan of 10,800, helped by the second Kestrel panel shipping a week early; gross margin 25.1 percent. The chair noted that the early shipment pulls revenue out of September and asked that the forecast be restated rather than left flattering.

Scrap and the Elkhart housings. Twenty-two of sixty bearing housings from Tanaka Precision required rework on the bore, taking scrap to 2.1 percent against a target of 1.6. The supplier has accepted the cost, and first-article inspection now applies to every machined line. The bore gauge recalibration, due in October, will be brought forward.

On-time delivery. 92.6 percent against a 95 percent target, fourteen late lines of 189, twelve of them tracing to the housings. Release R-07 is at risk by three days; K. Alvarez to expedite the eight back-ordered brackets at Northmoor's cost.

Approval thresholds. The two-signature threshold falls to 10,000 dollars on 1 October; the ERP change will be tested in the sandbox first and plant supervisors briefed at the Tuesday production meeting.
