<p>Dear Ms. Ault,</p>
<p>Thank you for the time your team gave us at the Harvard Road plant last week. This letter sets out what we agreed on supply continuity for the coming two quarters, together with the two decisions we still need from you before the end of September.</p>
<p>Three things have changed since our March review. First, our stainless supplier has moved from a four-week to a seven-week lead time on 316L bar, which is the driver behind the fabrication dates below. Second, we have qualified a second machining source in Elkhart, which removes the single-source risk you raised on bearing housings. Third, freight out of Rochester has settled at roughly nine percent below the spring peak, and we are passing that through rather than holding it.</p>
<p>On the fabrication programme: we can hold current pricing on the skid frames and guard panels through 31 March 2027 provided we receive a blanket release for the full sixty units by 30 September. Below that quantity we would need to requote the frames, and the difference would be in the order of four to six percent. The piping and fittings package is quoted against published mill indices and will move with them; we will notify you in writing before any change takes effect, as we have done since 2023.</p>
<p>On the two open decisions. The first is whether you wish us to hold safety stock of the neoprene gasket material at our Lyell Avenue plant. Holding six weeks' consumption would carry a storage charge of roughly 240 dollars a month and would remove the two-week exposure you saw in August. The second is the commissioning window for the Central Sterile installation, which we have provisionally reserved for the week of 21 September; that reservation lapses on 14 September and the next available window is 19 October.</p>
<p>We have also enclosed the revised quality plan. The only substantive change is that first-article inspection now applies to every machined line item rather than to the first release of each part number, which we expect will slow the first shipment of any new part by two to three days and reduce the rework we both saw in the spring.</p>

<p>Turning to the commercial terms. Our proposal is to leave payment terms at net thirty and to keep the two percent early-settlement discount available on invoices paid within ten days, which your treasury team has taken on eleven of the last fourteen invoices. We would ask in return that the disputed freight item on invoice INV-4102 be closed out; our credit department has the documentation and expects to have it resolved by 19 September.</p>
<p>We propose the following schedule for the balance of the programme, subject to the blanket release described above.</p>

<p>If the schedule and the terms above are acceptable, a purchase order referencing this letter is sufficient; no further paperwork is required from your side. I will call your office on Thursday to confirm the commissioning window either way, since that is the one item with a hard date.</p>
